John Stivarius LATERALS TO Elarbee Thompson AS SENIOR TRIAL PARTNER ATLANTA (November 14, 2007) – Elarbee, Thompson, Sapp & Wilson, LLP today announces that John C. Stivarius, Jr. has joined the firm as a senior trial partner in the firm’s Corporate Litigation practice group, effective today. Stivarius brings more than twenty-seven years of experience to the firm, which includes participating as lead counsel in over fifty-four jury trials. He has a significant experience in complex litigation, focusing primarily on employment, torts, malicious prosecution defense, products liability, fiduciary liability (corporate and directors’ and officers’ liability), environmental and business litigation (restrictive covenants and contracts), as well as class action and collective cases. Stivarius also has a significant practice in labor arbitrations, mediations, grievance hearings and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. Stivarius is joining Elarbee Thompson from Epstein Becker & Green’s Atlanta office. John is an entertaining lecturer, writer and trainer. Stivarius completed his studies at Emory University School of Law and the University of Georgia, where he graduated with a degree in chemistry summa cum laude.
