ATLANTA (January 6, 2009) – Elarbee, Thompson, Sapp & Wilson, LLP, the award-winning Atlanta labor, employment and complex litigation law firm, today announces that Ms. Adriana Midence has joined the firm as an associate effective December 1, 2008.

Midence concentrates on complex litigation and employment litigation, focusing primarily on professional liability, errors and omissions, products liability, employment discrimination, litigation, torts, business torts, malicious prosecution defense, fiduciary liability (corporate and directors’ and officers’ liability) and business litigation (restrictive covenants and contracts), as well as injuries to persons and property.  She also has extensive experience in alternative dispute resolutions.

 

Midence has unique experience with conducting workplace investigations regarding allegations of discrimination and/or harassment. She has also served as assistant special master to corporate partners in various complex commercial litigation cases.

 

Midence received her B.A. with high distinction in political science from the University of Michigan and her J.D. from Emory University School of Law. She was a Legal Intern for Justice Harris Hines, Georgia Supreme Court while completing her law degree. Midence is fluent in Spanish and has traveled through and lived in parts of Central America.
