Practicing Law is Tough. Working at Your Firm Shouldn't Be. Our culture makes it worthwhile. We offer the collegiality of a smaller firm, with a family atmosphere, great benefits, and a pleasant working environment, but at the same time we offer big firm quality and expertise with a growing marquee client base. Law Students: Consider a career with our firm if you are ready to join a thriving firm where every partner will know your name and will take an active interest in your success. Our summer program provides the chance to experience what it is really like to be an associate at our firm, with small classes so that summer associates benefit from one-on-one interaction with our lawyers. Students work on a wide variety of projects, participate in lunch and learns and other training activities, and may be able to observe and/or help prepare for depositions, hearings and client meetings. There is also ample opportunity to spend time with partners and associates at various firm activities including sporting events, happy hours and parties. Lateral Hires: Elarbee Thompson supports experienced attorneys in their career development and offers competitive compensation packages, training, regular feedback and opportunities for client contact and client development comparatively early in their careers. Since our strategic business model is to remain a single-site boutique that avoids the overhead costs associated with multiple offices, our cases are typically staffed in a way that permits associates to have direct exposure to clients and responsibility for depositions and court appearances as soon as they have demonstrated they are ready. If you have the talent, motivation and self confidence to meet this challenge, Elarbee, Thompson, Sapp & Wilson provides an environment for continued success and growth. Diversity We recognize first-hand the benefits and opportunities that diversity can bring to the legal profession and our communities. Our diversity efforts date back over 20 years, when Elarbee Thompson was one of the first majority law firms in the southeast to hire and retain an African American attorney as a partner. Our firm continues to reflect that commitment to diversity in its partnership, associates, and staff members. We are committed to providing all of our applicants and employees equal employment opportunity without regard to race, creed, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, marital status, veteran status, medical condition, disability status, or sexual orientation as required by law. Please note that we cannot accept unsolicited resumes from law students. |
